How is a wedding stylist different to a wedding planner?

A Wedding Planner is your Event Manager.

S/He is here to manage all logistics and practical matters involved in planning the celebrations -

Source and book vendors, manage contracts, work on timelines, manage budget, and other matters to ensure the planning journey is smooth from the beginning till the end.

A Wedding Stylist is your Art Director/ Interior Designer of your event.

S/He is responsible for your event aesthetics, to oversee and bring your desired vision to life in cohesion -

Create overall mood/ feel and present it in different wedding elements via mood board, lead the decoration team in execution; for instance, florist, production house, lighting, stationery designers, furniture rental etc, source styling materials if needed.

If I have a vision which I think i can execute for my wedding, what can a planner/ stylist bring to that vision?

We believe the wedding planner (your event manager) / wedding stylist (your art director) is to help you make sure everything runs smoothly and comes out beautifully.

They are experts in the field and would be able to offer you solid advice; for instance,

  • whether something could be executed within a certain time frame or budget,

  • how to present the vision via different elements - it is sometimes not just about the flowers only, it is about how to choreograph everything together in cohesion.

They are here to take away your worries and make sure the vision is presented beautifully or even in an elevated way.

Also, we understand that brides tend to check out wedding inspirations directly and hence there is a tendency of copying weddings they have come across.

Seasoned planners/ stylists have the experience and creativity to help you discover and realize your unique style and preference, and make the celebration truly belong to you.

What is a good budget for a wedding?

We reckon there is no ‘one size fits all’, since the events’ scales vary, and the personalized themes and setups are different for each event.

One of the most important element of the wedding is to pick the right venue, which you could build things on it to complement the surrounding environment, instead of having to transform the whole space.
